On 29 SEP, ReneSola published a press release titled, “ReneSola Completes the Disposition of Manufacturing and LED Distribution Businesses and Related Liabilities.” Today, EdisonReport can confirm that a major restructuring is occurring. ReneSola is an unusual company in that it sells LED lamps and fixtures as well as Solar inverters and modules. As best as we can tell, the layoffs occurring today are only on the Lighting side of the business.
As we explored their website, we went to the ‘Our Business’ page and attempted to call the company at the published number 400-828-6555. We received a very warm welcome recording from Verizon Wireless and that our call could not be completed as dialed. We were able to reach a company employee at another number we found on a different ReneSola website.
