Now that LEDucation, and Light + Build are behind us, it is full steam ahead for LIGHTFAIR—the number one show for our industry in North America.
Our home will be at the Marriott Marquis, adjoining the convention center. We wrote about this last fall in our detailed recon report. Marriott has a wonderful bar and the concierge lounge is one of the best we have experienced. It features and outdoor lounge which might be perfect in May.
Top 10 MUST See Products will be announced Monday, 7 MAY. To be considered, send a photo and brief description of your product or service to [email protected] by 30 MAR. Only one submittal per company will be considered so give us your best product.
Our 3rd Annual Lifetime Achievement Awards will be held Monday evening, 7 MAY, at the Marriott Marquis. Judges are hard at work and we plan to announce the 2018 honorees on 5 APR—tickets will go on sale that day, but mark your calendar now. Cocktails and HEAVY hors d’oeuvres start at 6:30 pm and the ceremony begins promptly at 7 pm. We have some very strong names for consideration this year.
So far, we have five people booked for our on-camera Executive Series Interviews which will occur Monday afternoon. After the Lifetime Achievement Awards, our team will work through the evening to edit the videos and they should be posted by 2.a.m. The intent is for our audience to watch the videos early Tuesday morning to help drive traffic to those booths.
