EdisonReport has been following the tariff discussions since the election of President Trump. Your humbled editor spoke at the GG LED conference in Shenzhen on the likelihood of tariffs. My position at the conference was that the administration would use threats and bluster but would not implement tariffs on lighting. In four days I will be proven wrong.
Effective 24 SEP, an additional 10% tariff will be added and 1 JAN 2019, the 10% jumps to 25%. This is in addition to the present tariff which averages about 6%.
