Selux Welcomes Jim Toole as VP of Sales, NYC

Jim comes to Selux with over 30 years expe­ri­ence in the spec­i­fi­ca­tion light­ing market and is a proven leader with a pas­sion for light­ing and people.

Jim grew up in South­ern Chester County in PA, just south of Philadel­phia. When Jim was in high school he was lucky to be guided toward Indus­trial Design where he con­tin­ued that focus at the Uni­ver­sity of Bridge­port. In col­lege he joined a high-end light­ing store located in Con­necti­cut. The store was also affil­i­ated with a high-end design firm. Light­ing lay­outs and fix­ture design imme­di­ately became his focus.

Living in NYC for over 30 years, he is enthralled by the true melt­ing pot of people from all walks of life and the under­stand­ing of the rich his­tory he gets from the every­day expe­ri­ences. Along with the city, Jim also loves the out­doors. While upstate he enjoys land­scap­ing, biking, hiking and clas­sic cars — the per­fect com­bi­na­tion of art, sci­ence and all things mechan­i­cal. Jim is hap­pi­est hiking with friends or taking trips on his adven­ture motor­cy­cle.

Jim’s exten­sive back­ground includes Pres­i­dent of JT Con­sult­ing, VP and Gen­eral Man­ager of the Archi­tec­tural Divi­sion at FLOS USA and Direc­tor of Spec­i­fi­ca­tion Prod­uct Sales at Cooper Light­ing.

At Selux, Jim will be lead­ing our New York City Team in the con­nec­tion between our clients and our head­quar­ters in High­land, New York.
