The LHRC and The Lighting Agora to Launch Video Blog Series – A View from Mount Sinai

The Light and Health Research Center (LHRC) at Mount Sinai in partnership with The Lighting Agora will launch a new video blog “vlog” series beginning in January 2022. The monthly series, called “A View from Mount Sinai,” will be hosted by Dan Frering, the LHRC’s education program director. Each vlog will feature information focused on diverse areas of lighting research including human health, transportation safety, energy, plant health, new technologies, and other exciting areas of exploration in light.

The View from Mount Sinai vlog will be posted monthly on the Lighting Agora website https://lightingagora.com/ and will be free for the public to view and share with others interested in learning about the latest information in lighting research. “I am excited to be able to use this video blog series to bring information about light to people in a fun and interesting way” said Dan Frering, the LHRC’s education program director, “I look forward to working with the Lighting Agora to bring these reports to the public and build interest and excitement about the power of light!”

The first View From Mount Sinai vlog will be posted in mid-January 2022 and will feature an overview of the LHRC and its recently opened lighting research laboratories near Albany, New York. A new vlog will be posted near the middle of each month from thereafter.
