Position Type: Salary – Full-time
Location: Blue Ash, Ohio
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design required. 18 months of architectural lighting design experience desired, but not required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: Some travel will be required.
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing lighting design standards utilizing the entire LSI Industries Lighting Product portfolio.
- Updating methodology and intent for Industry Lighting Design Standards and possess a firm understanding of current architectural lighting principles and technologies.
- Creation of exterior / interior lighting specifications, designs, and layouts, from concept through final modeling.
- Perform Project Management through all phases of assigned projects.
- Assist with maintaining the LSI Photometric Database.
- Presentation of designs and lighting comparisons to customers, agents, and/or employees.
- Interacting professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.

Previous experience required.
- College coursework would have included Lighting Design and Theory
- Familiarity with Architectural and Engineering Plans
- AutoCAD
- LAI AGI32 or equivalent software programs.
- Adobe Acrobat & Photoshop
- Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Previous experience a plus.
