NLB Seeks Nominations for the
2022 Art & Science of Lighting Awards
Nashville, December 21, 2022 – The National Lighting Bureau (NLB) is now accepting submissions for the 3rd annual Art & Science of Lighting Awards. The awards recognize new products that advance the following categories:
The Science of Lighting Award
A lighting product that demonstrates exceptional technical innovation that significantly improves how effectively and efficiently high-quality lighting can be specified and installed, or a lighting product that introduces new applications to high-quality lighting opportunities.
The Art of Lighting Award
A lighting product that exhibits an innovative lighting configuration that has aesthetic appeal or provides a refreshing new form for a conventional luminaire.
The Art and Science of Lighting Award
A lighting product that meets the criteria for both the Art and Science of Lighting categories.
These awards are unique. While they are awards for products, only lighting designers, architects and engineers can nominate.
Mary Beth Gotti, Chair of the NLB, stated, “We have made the nomination process very easy this year; the submitter simply provides the name and company of the product and a few of the attributes.”
The awards will be presented at LEDucation at the Hilton Midtown in New York on March 7th, 2023.
Nominate now through January 20, 2023 at nlb.org
