New Zhaga Taskforce Formed for Round Shaped LED-Modules

Piscataway, NJ, USA  – The Zhaga Consortium is market-oriented and always works in the best interest of lighting-industry stakeholders. Understanding market needs and reviewing Zhaga member companies’ proposals, the Steering Committee has initiated the new Taskforce Round Shaped Modules (TF-RSM).

Mission: The TF-RSM will develop and propose a new specification for round-shaped non-integrated LED-modules.

Objectives:

  • Identify general mechanical characteristics and align on categories for round shaped LED-modules, considering different diameters and segmentation options, serving the B2B-market.
  • Develop proposals for a comprehensive interface specification, including mechanical, electrical, photometrical, and thermal requirements that enable interoperability and serviceability.Supporting Member companies are:
Tridonic, Signify, Ledvance, Vossloh-Schwabe, Inventronics and BJB.

Only Zhaga Regular Members can contribute and collaborate in drafting new Zhaga specifications. If you want to find out more about how to become a Zhaga Regular member, please visit www.zhagastandard.org or contact the Secretary General of the Zhaga Consortium, Heinrich Thye, by mailing to [email protected].
