To build on the momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing coordinator who can contribute to existing programs while assisting with developing new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in various marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Pay Rate: 55,000 to 60,000 Annually
About You
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is energetic, innovative, and versatile in managing digital and physical marketing initiatives. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities.
Objectives of this role
- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s brand strategy
- Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, generating and organizing creative content for the purpose of lead generation
- Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success
Responsibilities
- Support the marketing manager in establishing and marketing strategy by assembling sales forecasts, organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the sales team, and provide instructions for product launches, tradeshows and events
- Work with the Marketing Manager to plan meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
- Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary
- Continually seek new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
- Coordinate trade show activities, including checking in booths returned from the field, coordinating booth repairs and improvements, replenishing marketing materials, and organizing booth shipments.
- Assist in the creation of promotional and training videos through video compositing and editing to be used on the web and in social media.
Requirements
- Experience in marketing coordination or similar role
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suites
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Experience in video production software, including Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects or equivalent
- Experience using data analytics software for research
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks
Preferred skills and qualifications
- 2-3 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Creative Suite, Canva, MS Office
- Working knowledge of HTML, design, and email software
- Experience in budgeting
- Be able to work in different locations in the Chicago area.
