Long-time sales leader and industry advocate to advance DMF Lighting’s position as the top choice for lighting fixtures in the custom integration market
CARSON, Calif. — Nov. 6, 2024 — DMF Lighting, the leader in modular downlighting in the custom integration channel, today announced the promotion of Mike Libman to Sales Vice President, Custom Integrators. Previously DMF Lighting’s National Sales Director, Libman now steps into this expanded role, tasked with leading the company’s custom integration sales efforts across North America. Known for his passion for technology, innovation, and sustainable solutions, Libman is uniquely positioned to support integrators in providing beautiful, functional lighting that aligns with their clients’ lifestyles.
Libman’s career at DMF Lighting spans more than nine years, during which he has driven substantial growth across roles, from Regional Sales Manager to National Channel Sales Manager for the CEDIA space. His recent position as National Sales Director saw him develop strategies to empower integrators with versatile lighting solutions that elevate residential environments. Libman’s collaborative approach and effective leadership have helped establish DMF Lighting as a trusted brand known for its forward-thinking design, intuitive engineering, and responsive service.

Libman’s experience spans various tech-driven roles, having previously held positions at companies such as Tealium, ACTIVE Network, and Meraki (Cisco Systems), where he helped solve complex data and networking challenges. His unique background and skillset, coupled with his dedication to environmentally resy responsible solutions, have positioned him as a versatile and motivated leader in the custom integration market. Libman was awarded the 2023 HTSA Person of the Year and was included in Dealerscope magazine’s “40 Under 40” list in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University.
