Mike Felton Joins JAW Lighting as Vice President of Ohio Valley Sales
JAW Lighting has appointed Mike Felton as Vice President of Ohio Valley Sales to lead its new Ohio Valley territory. This decision reflects the company’s commitment to growth and a stronger leadership structure.
Jim Williams, CEO of JAW Lighting, expressed excitement about Felton joining the team. “We are building a nice, young nucleus of leaders to set us up for long-term success,” he said. “Mike has extensive experience in the Ohio market, which he will now oversee, and he brings invaluable expertise to our team.”
Felton brings over 11 years of experience from Acuity Brands, where he held several leadership positions. Most recently, he served as VP of Direct Utility & Horticulture Sales Channels, shaping strategies and managing sales functions. Earlier roles included Vice President of Sales for Specification & Controls and Vice President of C&I Sales for the Central U.S.
Williams also emphasized the company’s focus on mentoring its younger talent. “We have hired many young people, and I’m excited to mentor and coach them,” he noted. He added that he has 17 interviews scheduled this week, further demonstrating JAW Lighting’s focus on building its team.
Felton’s new role is an important step for JAW Lighting as it expands its influence in the lighting industry. His strong track record at Acuity Brands and deep knowledge of the Ohio market make him well-suited to lead this territory.
