2026 Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy

The University of Colorado Boulder is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy (RMLA) Short Course. This four-day course will be held on the beautiful CU Boulder campus on May 28-31, 2026. General sessions cover lighting and design fundamentals along with the latest developments in technology, color, and health. Technical Track students work in our lighting and computer labs to explore photometry, optics, and luminaire design while Design Track students gain practical experience with developing lighting concepts and other early-stage aspects of the architectural lighting design process. The course emphasizes hands-on learning experiences, and the class size is limited to ensure a fun, interactive experience. Register early and save 10% on the course fee!
