Osram has multiple openings for Business Development Managers where you will be focused on growing ENCELIUM® opportunities in the Northeast or South-Central region. As part of the OSRAM Digital Systems specification group you will be working with the ENCELIUM light management systems and IoT smart building solutions.
We’re looking for energetic, sales “go-getters” that can work with our agent teams, but also develop and grow relationships and opportunities with specifiers, contractors and end-users. You’ll be working with these agents to establish market presence and show commitment to developing their business.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Develop and execute sales plans with regional agents
- Hands-on product training at sales calls, lunch & learns, and industry events
- Further developing relationships with specifiers, end-users and contractors and impact long-term projects with ENCELIUM light management systems and connected/IoT solutions
- Provide sales trends, market and customer feedback to internal teams
- Fiscal responsibility for ENCELIUM light management systems and connected lighting/IoT solutions
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
What we look for
- Knowledge of the lighting industry including lighting controls and building codes
- Knowledge of Smart connected buildings and IoT solutions
- Experience working with lighting specifiers and agents
- Established end-user/key account relationships
- Must be driven with a proven track record of achieving objectives and managing others
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years’ experience. MBA a plus
- Preferred – LEED accredited, LC and/or PE
