Former Zumtobel Designer Starts His Own Business with a Kickstarter-Campaign

Georg Hobelsberger, a former designer and engineer, with a track record working on the most prestigious light art and industrial design projects for Zumtobel, has ventured out by his own. Launching his own design studio in Berlin, Germany and creating a Kickstarter campaign for a sustainable office luminaire. The Kickstarter campaign revolves around the idea of a sustainable and human centric light solution. His experience from projects like Harpa, Reykjavik or Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg and Zumtobel industrial design projects has led to a studio and office luminaire out of sheet metal with a very low glare rating, a distinctive design language, visual comfort and high light quality.
