Director of Business Development
ACE LEDs is seeking a detail-oriented professional with excellent skills in customer service and developing relationships for the position of Director of Business Development. ACE LEDs is the industry leader in LED lighting components and features a vast product portfolio ranging from Emergency LED drivers to custom LED module solutions, all servicing the Lighting OEM marketplace.
At its core, this position is about building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth in the OEM marketplace. Successful experience with business support, retention, and working with others is needed. The candidate must work well independently and take initiative in developing programs to support the company.
Job Type: Full Time
Job Functions include:
1. Work with electronic distributor sales team to generate leads, establish relationships, and secure business with existing and potential clients across the region.
2. Establish, foster, and maintain relationships with direct accounts to increase business and work to attract new customers.
3. Educate customers and sales representatives in the region with new product information.
4. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to identify strategic growth initiatives and forecasting.
5. Partner with engineers on new product development and product modifications that meet specific customer needs.
6. Update and maintain CRM information and reporting to ensure competitive intelligence of business relationships.
Requirements:
- Must live in the Western United States • Component sales experience in Lighting OEMs • Bachelor’s degree • Position requires 40% travel in the US and Canada
Compensation: Competitive salary plus monthly commission (non-capped), paid monthly
