Shirley commented to EdisonReport: “I’m very excited to return to Cree Lighting. With Cree Lighting’s brand recognition and innovation track record, the strength of the team including our employees, partner lighting agents, great customers, the Racine manufacturing capabilities, and the new ownership as part of Sabu Krishnan’s lighting-focused organization, there is a lot of opportunity to build the business. Working as an independent consultant for the past couple of years has provided me with wider exposure to the trends and developments in lighting technology and applications – there’s a lot happening in areas like light and human health and responsible outdoor nighttime lighting. I’m looking forward to working with the team here at Cree Lighting move ahead in this ever-changing commercial lighting space.”
