Phillip Anthony Morreo, known as Phil, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Bluffton, South Carolina, at 77. Born on January 8, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, Phil started his career with GE and became the President/CEO of Emergi Lite, a leading emergency lighting manufacturer. After 35 years, he retired to Bluffton with his wife.
A passionate golfer, Phil achieved two hole-in-ones in one round. He was an avid Boston sports fan, cherishing moments like taking Gregory to see the Patriots win Super Bowl XXXVIII. Known for his lively stories and humor, Phil was often the life of the party and valued family above all.
Phil is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dee Dee Morreo; children Gregory and Kiely Morreo; and sister Sally O’Connell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary Morreo.
