Philips has this week launched a new LED light that aims to provide a direct replacement for the billions of fluorescent lighting tubes found in offices, shops and factories around the world.
The company yesterday announced the introduction of its new InstantFit LED tube, which it claims will cut lighting energy costs by 50 per cent compared to standard fluorescent tubes, allowing companies to recover their investment within one to three years.
