Inter-lux announces the addition of Jim Toole as Chief Business Development Officer. Jim is a consummate lighting professional with successful experience in product development, design, application, sales and management. He will be a significant addition to the Inter-lux management Team.
Jim’s education in industrial design led him to an early career in product development, which later grew into product management and product design management. That ability, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit led Jim to start and operate his own New York based custom architectural lighting company that manufactured decorative and performance luminaires.
In the last fifteen years, Jim has worked in sales and general management for high design architectural and performance lighting brands, working with management as well as independent sales representatives to significantly build market share for these companies. It is this wide experience base that will bring value to the Inter-lux brand.
At Inter-lux, Jim will be responsible for managing the market areas of New York City, Boston and the surrounding markets. He will be working with Inter-lux Market Managers to continue the development of sales and marketing campaigns as well as working with management to direct the Inter-lux brand.
