(Niles, IL) – Bill Brown Sales (BBS), the lighting industry’s leading full-service component sales agency, announces that it will represent Wald Wire and Manufacturing, a Wisconsin-based producer of custom wire guards for light fixtures.
Founded in 1951, Wald Wire has decades of experience manufacturing custom wire guards to protect any fixture without compromising the design or functionality. Using a combination of wire forming and spot-welding techniques as needed, they can quickly meet any custom wire guard requirements.
The ISO9001:2015 certified business has approximately 100 experienced employees in three OshKosh-area plants and more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Capabilities include multiple CNC Wire forming machines with diameter ranges from 0.093” to 0.500”. Raw materials include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Galvanized Steel. Finishing services include coating, Zinc (clear) and Chrome plating, wet paint, vinyl dipping, e-coating, anodizing, tempering, and hardening. No wire guards leave their plant until they are subjected to rigorous weld testing and strict quality inspection protocols.
Given their extensive expertise and capabilities, Wald Wire has the capacity to manufacture custom light guards quickly and cost-effectively with minimal lead time. “Our tag line is, ‘Flexible partner, unbending results,’ and we take that mission seriously,” states Randy Stark, Wald Wire President. “We are proud of our ability to create wire products in virtually any shape, size, or quantity,” he adds.
“LED light fixtures represent a significant investment,” continues Donny Wall, President of BBS. “Light guards are a vital protection from forceful contact in many settings and play a key role in extending fixture life,” Wall says.
Bill Brown Sales has been representing leading component manufacturers since 1955, including A.L.P. Lighting Components, Bridgelux, Genesis Plastics Technologies, Inventronics, IR-TEC America, Lynk Labs, RLR Industries, Roytec Industries, Tripar®, and Wald Wire & Manufacturing.
