DOE – Solid-State Lighting Workshop Cosponsored by the IES Continues

The Solid-State Lighting Workshop continues with Day 2 today starting at 11:00 AM EST. Up first is a panel discussion on the activities and ideas to promote lighting education, technical training and diversity in the workforce. Panelists Bernadette Boudreaux, DLC, Kenneth Connor, Inclusive Engineering Consortium/RPI, Bob Davis, PNNL, and Yulia Tyukhova, Independent Researcher will discuss these topical subjects moderated by Brienne Musselman, IES and Lisa Pattison, SSLS.

A panel discussion moderated by Mark Lien, IES with panelists Jim Gaines, Signify, Steve Paolini, Telelumen, Carol Jones, Axis, and Nate Mitten, Kimco Realty Corporation will discuss the latest innovations with LED to improve source efficiency, functionality, and control and communication at 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM EST. This second panel discussion will be sandwich between presentations outlining advancements in LED and OLED materials at 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM and R&D project highlights of LED materials, down-converters, OLED extraction, GUV measurements and reliability and OLED manufacturing from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.
