Your humble editor is pleased to be speaking today at the Inline Energy Expo at the Center for Space Exploration in Hunstville. All of the big companies are represented: Legrand Hubbell Lighting, Cooper Lighting Solutions, Signify, Acuity, Universal Lighting Technologies, GE Current, RAB, and many, many others. These regional shows are great for the EdisonReport as they are usually staffed by reps and regional guys–the people in the day-to-day business, who really know what is going on.
All exhibitors are part of the IMark buying group and Inline expects 400 attendees. We spoke to Randy Blackwood who explained the expo is a great opportunity for end-users to see products demonstrated and those products end up on specifications.
Also, because these are small table-top booths, exhibitors can only display a hand-full of products so it is a great way to learn about the important products in the market.
