Pompeo is president of The Pompeo Group, an executive search firm that has placed mid- to senior-level professionals into LED, lighting, electrical and energy positions since 2003. “I will focus on how to create an interview process to attract candidates and keep them engaged until they are hired,” he said. “We will talk about the difference between a candidate who has responded to your ad and a candidate who has been recruited and about how the best candidates are interviewing you just as much as you are interviewing them. We will strategize about enticing and keeping Millennials and ‘Gen Z’ employees who look at prospective employers in a completely different light than generations before them.”
With many years of lighting industry involvement, Pompeo is on the Board of Managers for the San Diego Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Section and a past president of IES in New Mexico.
