Record growth after 18 years of service in North Carolina
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 4, 2019) – LiteSource celebrates 18 years of service this year as the leading lighting and controls sales agency in North Carolina. On the heels of consecutive record-setting years, LiteSource proudly announces organizational movement, growth, and a company rebrand.
As of January 1st, Chris Keravuori, LiteSource founder, stepped down as President and has moved into a new business development focused role. “I am excited to be able to more fully engage with our market partners,” said Keravouri. “We have a very capable team here. And with this move, I’ll be able to focus on deepening relationships in key areas of focus throughout the business.”
Keravuori turned the reigns over to 13-year industry veteran, Kyle Rogers. With a background on the manufacturing side of lighting, startup and small businesses, Rogers is a Principal at LiteSource and has held various other positions in the company over the last five years.

Our founder, Chris Keravuori, has built a respected, values-driven organization, and I am humbled to be taking on the role of leading our team,” Rogers stated. “The focus is to build upon the values we have in place and to continue to find success. Not only for ourselves, but for our partners – all the way around. Over the last five years, LiteSource has invested heavily into the team and company capabilities by nearly tripling the staff and increasing internal efficiencies. With a strong core group of industry-veterans, surrounded by quickly developing talent, LiteSource continues to assemble their team of experts and move their company forward within the lighting industry. This year has also been a year of advancement as Andy Huffman, Principal and VP Western Region, expanded his ownership of the organization. His colleague and one of LiteSource’s original members, Robert James, Principal and VP Eastern Region, continues to focus on growth in the eastern half of the state. In addition, 6-year LiteSource veteran, Alisha Shannon, has increased her level of responsibility, now overseeing quotations and customer service.
“It is truly a special thing, to be able to maintain such a strong leadership team through the growth and transitions that we’ve been working through over these last several years,” added Huffman. “As we move forward, I have tremendous confidence in our team and our capabilities. To showcase who those people are and how our capabilities are expanding, we’ve also been building a new brand over the last year, which we’re proudly unveiling today.”
LiteSource spent the past year working closely with SPARK Strategic Ideas, a full-service strategic branding agency in Charlotte, NC, to build a new brand identity. Nick Wilson, Sales Operations and Applications, has been a key contributor to the rebrand and spearheaded the development of a fresh, new brand identity. Now when visiting the LiteSource website, viewers will find an updated logo, company colors, as well as new mission and values statements to the industry. With clean lines and a warm, inviting feel, LiteSource hopes to capture the essence of who they are and where they are going. LiteSource’s focus for the rebrand was on growing their presence throughout the market, and this site is the first visible step in the company’s long-term vision.
