The kit allows facility managers, building owners, energy audit teams, contractors and retailers to convert almost any six-inch or eight-inch commercial incandescent, CFL or HID open-frame fixture into an energy efficient LED, offering a true commercial retrofit to advanced lighting technology without having to purchase an entirely new fixture.
A highly compatible, easy to install and ENERGY STAR® qualified solution, the Indy Retrofit LED Downlight Kit provides users with the ability to quickly gain significant return on investment through energy and cost savings as compared to alternate sources. Power consumption can be reduced by up to 75 percent over incandescent lighting, up to 35 percent over HID sources, and up to 35 percent over CFL fixtures. With an expected service life of 50,000 hours, the Indy LED Retrofit Kit further helps reduce operating costs by providing over 10 years of maintenance-free operation, eliminating the need for lamp inventory and incorrect lamp or color temperature installation.
Also compatible with Juno Lighting Group’s Indy parabolic and hyperbolic reflectors, wall wash and baffle fixture models, the Indy Retrofit LED Downlight Kit is suitable for eight- to 30-foot ceilings and delivers 800 to 2800 lumens to retrofit up to 175 watts incandescent, 70 watt ED-17 metal halide and 2×26 watt CFL fixtures. The retrofit also results in excellent efficacies approaching 80 lumens per watt. Additional features of the Indy Retrofit LED Downlight Kit include:
- 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K color temperatures with 80 CRI minimum
- UL and cUL listing for damp locations. Wet location option available (parabolic trims only)
