Keith Eagle to Replace Retiring Bill Schoettler at Signify

Bill Schoettler

will retire as US Head of Professional Trade Sales, effective February 1, 2019. With a career that spans 40 years within the electrical industry, Bill has been at the forefront of the lighting industry’s transformation. Following 16 years of leadership at Genlyte, including three years as President of Genlyte’s flagship brand, Lightolier, Bill led the integration of Genlyte into the Philips Lighting US organization following the acquisition in 2007. Since then, he has helped establish the End User and Systems Center Structure in the US in preparation for the connected lighting transformation currently underway, and built a highly successful professional channel sales organization to best address the company’s key customer stakeholders including distributors, contractors, specifiers and end users.

Keith Eagle

will succeed Bill as US Head of Professional Trade Sales beginning October 29th. He will report directly to Roger Karner, US Market Leader and will sit on the US management team. Keith is a proven sales leader who brings a breadth of experience from similar roles held within the professional channel. He joins Signify from JELD-WEN, a global commercial and residential window and door manufacturer, where he was a Senior Sales Executive in the U.S. Prior to that, he held a variety of senior sales leadership roles at electrical manufacturers that include Cree, Inc., Eaton Corporation and Hubbell, Inc.

Based in Somerset, Bill and Keith will work closely to ensure a smooth transition.
