updated 3:56 p.m. E.S.T.–We received a statement from Kraig Kasler, President, Cooper Lighting Solutions:
“As the lighting industry continues to evolve in these unprecedented times, Cooper Lighting Solutions remains committed to leading the way by delivering products that have compelling value propositions. To remain competitive and manage costs we have decided to reduce our headcount by approximately 100 employees across regions, roles and functions. This decision has not been taken lightly. The employees impacted by these actions have been treated with dignity and respect and are eligible for separation benefits and outplacement resources to assist them in transitioning forward. We are committed to serving our customers in a seamless manner and will continue to work towards providing them with innovative products.”
