Lighting Project Manager — mySupplier

 JOB SUMMARY:

mySupplier is seeking a Lighting Project manager to work around nationally. As Project Manager, you will asked to be flexible in your duties and travel. We’re looking for a someone to ensure the success of the integration of mySupplier’s lighting retrofit projects. Once a project is approved by a client you will be responsible for all the communication, planning, coordination between clients and mySuppier team, and timely delivery of the project. Additional responsibilities include technical oversight on site during every step of the process, relationship with client, and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule material deliveries
  • Schedule projects with clients, auditors and subcontractors
  • Meet with customers and ensure proper completion of retrofit projects
  • Ensure timely completion of construction projects
  • File all project documents (hard and soft copies)
  • Manage employees and subcontractors
  • Responsible to track project changes
  • Develop/maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Conduct lighting audits on occasion
  • Prepare paperwork for local utility

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of project management or relevant work experience in a professional environment
  • Experience in the energy efficiency field preferred, particularly interfacing with utilities and understanding rate schedules and rebate structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Sustainability Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Science, Business Management or other relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven analytical skills, preferably with financial, life cycle cost analyses, and energy efficiency modeling
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical information and translate it to a lay audience
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Superior interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
