We are seeking a talented OEM Regional Sales Manager – Eastern US to join our team. SCOPE OF POSITION
Responsible for developing and executing the sales plan for the assigned territory, which includes the eastern United States.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Effectively manage diverse relationships with OEM clients (purchasing, sourcing, engineering, product management, executive management, quality, manufacturing)
- Identify and close new sales opportunities while maximizing sales with existing clients
- Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with teammates to develop new products and services
- Provide timely communication of key sales activities, industry trends, and client needs
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals that result in wins
- Perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Approximately 50% business travel
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field of study
- 5+ years of sales or engineering experience in the lighting, electrical, or electronics field
- Prior experience in technical and/or component sales preferred

- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communicator
- Highly organized with ability to manage several projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and quality of work expectations

- Resides in the sales region
