Value Stream Manager

Under the direction and guidance of a Value Stream Leader or VP/GM, is responsible for achieving product vitality and profitable growth objectives for assigned Value Stream. Collaborates with cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams including marketing, engineering, quality, technical, sourcing, and product support to achieve P&L objectives. Must be able to build effective relationships to influence others internally and externally.
To be successful in the role, the Product Manager has key deliverables achieved through:
1) Understanding and engaging in the technical, operational and commercial drivers of the product(s).
2) Recognizing and driving the product road map for assigned value stream, which includes product development, life cycles, pricing, and competitive analysis.
3.) Coordinating and communicating with Sales Channel and Supply Chain to enhance the ability of Product Value Streams to achieve its profitable growth objectives, understand in detail the factors impacting P&L, including cost, margin, service, inventory, and quality.
4) Use of Lean methodologies to achieve breakthrough results in assigned product(s).
