Sales Engineer – based in Atkinson, NH
Large diversified Dutch manufacturer is expanding their Light Controls business in North America. Nedap Light Controls designs and manufacturers intelligent, dimmable, wireless electronic ballasts for gas discharge lamps for a variety of application.
Nedap is seeking a Sales Engineer to assist in the introduction and implementation of this new and exciting platform. This southern NH based position is a technical sales and support function. The candidate must be willing to travel up to 40% domestically, with some international travel. In this role, the sales engineer will provide technical sales support to a dealer network, conduct training, meet with potential and existing customers and visit new installations to assist in project commencements.
The ideal candidate will have lighting or power electronics experience. A fluency in both electrical design and software application is necessary. Prior sales or strong customer support required. This is an intermediate position with a strong potential for growth. Nedap Light Controls offers a start-up environment with a strong, long established, parent company.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with customer to specify desired lighting and controls strategy
- Able to convey customer requirements to both internal and external sales team
- Provide after sales technical support and inbound technical ales inquiries
- Train and support national independent sales agency network
- Be available for site installation and commissioning support
- Serve as technical liaison between Nedap and lamp manufacturers
- Able to travel throughout sales territory (some international travel)
