Unlike other LEDs based on non-native substrates, Soraa LEDs use native substrate GaN, which enables our LEDs to run at high temperature and high current density. Founded by Shuji Nakamura in 2008, Soraa manufactures “best in class” LED MR16 lamps.
Description:
We are looking for individuals that can hit the ground running and introduce new LED products to regional accounts. This position will develop, foster and maintain long-term business relationships and value through the sale of Soraa’s products. Position can be home-based, 50% travel required. This position has excellent starting salary and incentive program.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Work with electrical distributor and ESCO partners to coordinate regional and national rollout programs.
- Coordinates with manufacturer representatives, factory sales personnel, distributors, etc., to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Analyzes sales levels and trends through market research and initiates proactive or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives.
- Assure that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
Qualifications:
- Worked with regional accounts for a lamp manufacturer or an electrical distributor
- LED experience is a plus, but not a requirement
- Must have existing relationships with key accounts in retail, restaurant, and hospitality
- Experience managing manufacturer’s representatives
- Experience in ESCO and energy accounts will also be considered
- Well developed communication, organizational, motivational and human relation skills
