Leducation 2025 Expands with More Exhibitors and New Venue Enhancements

LEDucation 2025 is shaping up to be one of the largest and most successful lighting events yet, with an expanded exhibitor space, strong attendance, and new enhancements to improve the attendee experience. Your humble editor hosted a discussion with industry leaders Jamie Eck of SATCO, Craig Fox of ETC, and Cynthia Turner of USAI Lighting to discuss what’s new for this year’s event.

With over 400 exhibitors and 667 tables, LEDucation 2025 has grown significantly. To accommodate this expansion, organizers have moved to have  two full floors of exhibit space at the Hilton in New York City. Exhibit demand remains strong, with a waiting list of 200 companies hoping to secure a spot.

Registration numbers are also on track, with over 5,000 attendees already signed up. The event continues to offer exceptional value, with an all-access pass priced at just $75, covering both the trade show and educational sessions. For those unable to attend in person, LEDucation is hosting 13 virtual sessions on 13-14 MAR, catering to international attendees and remote participants.

Organizers have moved food stations off the exhibit floor to improve crowd flow, creating DLFNY Cafés on the second and third levels. Additionally, the Student Lighting Competition will take place in the Trianon Ballroom on Tuesday at 5:00 PM.

Looking ahead, LEDucation will shift to April in 2026 and 2027 due to hotel availability and scheduling considerations. Despite its growth, organizers have confirmed that the event will remain at the Hilton through 2028 rather than moving to a larger venue.
