- Oversee and implement Quality Control processes and procedures including, product inspection, performance, life and reliability testing,
- Supervise Quality laboratory activities
- Respond to after sales customer warranty and technical inquires including, US consumer Product safety commission.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for verifying technical data on the packaging artwork
Prepare and review technical requirements of products, and compile product specification and provide QC approval Responds to customer technical inquiries, complaints, and warranty claim
Responds to all US Consumer Product Safety Commission inquiries
Conduct routine and seasonal Quality Assurance evaluation and reporting
Compile and review technical data (including labeling) for UL and Energy Star, requirements for submission, certifications, and maintenance
Supervises laboratory engineers and evaluations
- Train and evaluate QC Engineers
- Review and assign day to day to activities and projects
Sampling inspection of routine incoming products and raw materials
Conduct Vendor sample evaluation and testing
- Routine products’ quality assurance in accordance with regulatory and technical requirements requirement Update and maintain products inspection procedure.
- Train operators on new products and procedures
Education/Experience
- B.S of Science or Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC in manufacturing, engineering environment or with third party laboratory
- Understanding of UL, IES, ANSI and Energy Star specification and requirements
- Working knowledge of lighting product technologies, electronics, mechanicals, and optics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills
- Proficient in MS Office software applications (word, excel, power point)
