Role and Responsibilities
The RRM is part of the Southeast Regional Sales Team, reporting to the Regional Vice President, whose responsibilities include creating a business plan identifying and partnering with Distributor Energy Teams, Contractors, key Utility Companies, and local ABL agencies around Design Build opportunities to grow the renovation and retrofit business.
RRM will use expertise and develop relationships to educate; train (energy analysis, auditing, product awareness, and design) creating preferred specification and defined projects contributing to incremental sales.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5 Years Experience in Sales Management
- 2 Years Current Experience with Energy Related Projects and Understanding of Renewable Design Concepts
- Experience with Energy Based Economic Analysis (Total Cost of Ownership / ROI)
- Ability to Conduct Energy Audits
- Experience Developing Teams, Multi Tasking, and Coordinating Various Stakeholders
- Experience with Electrical Distributors
- Lighting Experience (Lighting Renovation and Retrofits)

- 50% Travel
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

The RRM, in conjunction with RVP and RSMs, will complete market assessments to identify, establish and successfully grow key renovation partnerships through agencies, key distributor energy team partners, contractors, key market utility companies and internal teams. RRM will have in depth knowledge of applicable products, including stock and flow, retrofitting, relighting, replacement and redesign, local and national utility rebates and programs, local and national energy codes and applications, local and state recycling laws and return on investment energy analysis (ROI) programs.
RRM will utilize technical expertise and relationships to educate, train, facilitate and secure specifications, and create follow up program through close of projects. Specifics would include: opportunity identification, product, assessment, solution selling, lighting design / layout, energy codes / applications, recycling laws, payback / ROI and utility program rebate awareness, on-site end user sales calls, assessments and presentations, collaboration on entry, completion and presentation of payback / ROI to customer, assist with product qualification and form submission for utility rebates both custom and standardized. Market aligned activities meeting customer requirements and supporting negotiations with all parties and close of business.
RRM will provide market based feedback and intelligence to RVP and for internal company functions as well as to communicate and secure marketing, product and or management support needed to assist with execution and growth. RRM will collaborate with RVP as well as agents and distributor partners to establishing and executing to key performance indicators clearly reflecting activities, strategic short term and long term market transformation plans, market share, growth and value added contributions.
