National Account Manager – LED Lighting & Room Air Conditioning

Description:
LG Electronics, U.S.A, Inc. is currently seeking a National Account Manager responsible for our LED Lighting & Room Air Conditioning product categories. In this role you will be calling directly on Home Depot and other national accounts. This position will be based in our Alpharetta, GA office.
The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to:
- Managing all aspects of national account management in a team setting
- Responsible for key existing categories as well as new category opportunities
- Identify, drive and maximize sales opportunities within established and new national accounts
- Establish, maintain and cultivate rapport with Merchants and buyers who make and influence buying decisions.
- Partner with LG key account management teams in other product/business divisions to maximize sales opportunities and enhance LG’s presence within the respective accounts.
- Pursue new opportunities through participation in customer product line reviews. Prepare and present program overviews, market trends, and relevant future plans.
- Achieve sales revenue targets within cost margin parameters.
- Manage LG’s in-store experience through the effective design and execution of POS materials and programs.
- Monthly and quarterly sales/production forecast management in collaboration with category specific demand planners.
- Work closely with LG product management teams to define new market/product opportunities and gaps in existing programs.
- Maximize corporate staff resources to ensure on-time product and program launches.
- Provide a high level of customer service (both external and internal).
- Partner with the dedicated team sales support operations manager to proactively manage all customer operational and electronic content system requirements (SKU maintenance, pricing, item data management, digital assets, etc.).
- Trade shows and special events as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or 5 – 7 years of lighting, electrical or seasonal product sales management experience with national retail accounts. National home center account management experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
