ELECTRONICS PROCUREMENT PROJECT MANAGER
This position is responsible for the project management of sourcing and purchasing solid state system components, including but not limited to: controls, sensors, Wi-Fi components and related software. The Electronics Procurement Project Manager will work closely with New Product Development, Engineering, Materials Management and Manufacturing to determine electronic needs and functionality for new and existing products, Will determine sources of supply, evaluate vendor capability, consider price quotations, place orders to meet user department needs, negotiate/approve purchase contracts, etc.
10+ years experience in sourcing electronic components and an Electronics Engineering degree (or equivalent) is required; MBA and a background in lighting preferred. The successful candidate will possess an Engineering background from within the electronics industry, a pre-established global source base and a developed electronics, controls and systems supply network. Proven negotiating and customer service skills required.
