EdisonReport can confirm that Lumenergi closed its doors on Friday, 8 MAR. Three different sourced confirmed the information to us. We reached Barry Weinbaum, who is presently listed on their website as President and CEO.  Mr. Weinbaum would neither confirm nor deny the closing.  

Employees attended a meeting on Thursday, 7 MAR to learn that their jobs would end the following day.  In addition, we have learned that Lumenergi was in discussions to either merge or be acquired.  As those discussions ended, so did the company.

Lumenergi initially began in the eHID ballast business.  Lately they entered the lighting controls business.
