1. Job Purpose

Improve brand awareness and increase market share by educating Sales Partners,  and Specifiers on the advantages of specifying Delta Ligtht’s products.

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train/Educate Sales Partners and their team on the various applications of Delta Light’s products.
  • 75% travel-time within Canada making presentation to Architects, Lighting Consultants, Engineers, and Interior Designers.
  • Consult with Sales Partners and Specifiers to assist with Lighting Designs.
  • Provide technical support to Inside Staff, Sales Partners, Specifiers, and Contractors.
  • Monitor projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to prospect and close major deals.
  • Develop and strengthen client relations.
  • Participate in Trade Shows and industry related events.

3. Experience and Qualifications

  • Over 6 years experience in the Lighting Industry
  • IES or Lighting Certified prefered
  • Excellent sales and business development skills
  • Written and verbal skills
  • MS office: Powerpoint, Excel, Word

The successful applicant must be able to travel 75% of the time, increasing Brand awareness and market share by face-to-face meetings with Architects, Engineers, Lighting Consultants, Interior Designers, and Sales Partners.
