Responsible for managing the Company’s product lines as assigned. Primary role is to plan and execute each stage of product development from inception through the entire product life-cycle. Responsibilities include analyzing and developing new products, market needs, pricing, and competitive strategies for specific product lines. Strategies should maximize the company’s profits and or market share.
Job Duties:
- Analyze and identifying potential markets
- Apply product knowledge to marketing of goods
- Develop product offering
- Create cost/benefit analysis for proposed new products to determine viability
- Manage engineering and certification
- Manage quality and performance testing
- Develop and execute marketing plan
- Develop pricing strategy
- Analyze sales activities or trends
- Estimate product demand
- Make sales presentations/gather market data through sales trips
- Identify and manage discontinuation of products no longer needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Good oral/written communications
- Ability to make decisions and work without close supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
- Should be a self-starter with good organizational skills and be flexible
- Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible, good reasoning skills with sound judgement

Education and Experience:
- Minimum four year degree in marketing or lighting related technical degreee
- Minimum three years experience in product management, marketing, or lighting
- Strong technical proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access) and accounting software
