Responsibilities:
• Perform analysis of new product SKU’s and determine inventory levels
• Place purchase orders with factories
• Expedite purchase orders as necessary
• Minimize material costs and maximize margins
• Monitor supplier performance, lead-time, pricing, quality and responsiveness
• Resolve questions and problems between vendors, sales, operations and our customers
• Communicate with CEO and product managers
Experience Preferred:
• Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing or inventory planning
• Lighting product knowledge
• Exceptional data analysis capabilities
• Proficient in Excel, Word and MAS 200 (?)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent work habits, organizational and verbal skills
• Extremely organized.
