Marketing Coordinator–Beghelli USA

Job Description:

The Company is currently interviewing for the Marketing Coordinator position.  This key role is the ‘champion’ for company communication and marketing project management. This position is responsible for implementing marketing activities that drive profitable sales of The Company products while keeping everyone informed to make these changes a reality.  The Marketing Coordinator is to have a complete understanding of all the Company products, services and modes of operation. Provide information and insights regarding customers, markets, competitors and campaign / promotion effectiveness, to measure performance and support business decisions and direction of the company as it relates to products and market penetration. Plan and manage various research projects, product launches and trade shows.

Requirements:

  • Market research analysis of new and existing products & pricing
  • Marketing research that will aid in the creation of sound market or product development strategies.   This research can be in the areas of markets, applications, competitors, products, or channels.
  • Trade Shows
  • Marketing media & materials
  • Printing “text” proofing and responsible for all copy writing.
  • Manage “Company Communication” so the sales force and other employees are informed and knowledgeable at the appropriate times.
  • Take a lead role in the employee moral with company parties and events.
  • Responsible for the creation of marketing communication programs such as Public Relations articles, trade shows, sales promotions, and trade associations, packaging, & packaging quality.
  • Responsible for the creation of sales aids and sales training tools intended to profitably grow market share.
  • Maintain, manage, follow up and communicate Product changes, additions, and deletions.
  • Works with the Graphic Designer to maintain, update and develop catalogs, brochures, promotions and web updates.
  • Follow up and drive the sales of slow moving inventory through customer service, sales and promotions. 

Expectations

The Marketing Coordinator is familiar with a variety of marketing and research concepts, practices, and procedures, and relies on experiences and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and objectives.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected from this position, and is expected to travel minimally 10% of the time.

The Marketing Coordinator is expected to be knowledgeable of industry, competitors, market trends, and technology.  Utilize principles to improve business profitability that include 80/20, Business Simplification, End User analysis and Product Line Simplification.

Knowledge & Experience:

Education:       A four-year college degree in Marketing or a technical aptitude required.

Experience:     A minimum of four years marketing experience is desired.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge: 

  1. Strong technical & organizational competence
  2. Knowledge/Experience of principles and practices of marketing.
  3. Possess effective oral and written communications skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  4. Capable of making effective presentations.
  5. Strong computing skills, including Adobe, Excel and Powerpoint.
  6. Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all persons that this position interacts with.
  7. Capable of learning the lighting industry, products and distinct markets.
