Sales Manager–Mobern Lighting

Mobern Lighting Company, a venerable award-winning manufacturer of energy efficient lighting products growing 25% annually is seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee its sales representatives and national accounts, manage all marketing and social media campaigns and attend trade shows throughout the United States with minimum supervision.  Suitable candidates should have 1-2 years of sales experience and be ready, willing and able to travel 3 weeks per month.  Don’t feel like management is your sweet spot? No worries, we will train and mentor the most suitable candidate who possesses the necessary attitude and energy required to do the job right. Responsibilities include establishing sales budgets, managing commission agreements and payments, implementing special offers and promotions, negotiating customer annual rebate programs, specifying/quoting projects sales and coordinating print/online catalog development (including products cut-sheets).   Position requires strong EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint skills.  Base salary for the first six months will be competitive to start and will be supplemented by an aggressive incentive program based on increased sales volume and exemplary performance.  In addition, position qualifies for full participation in company sponsored health, vision, dental plan, group life and 401(K) plans after 30 days of employment.

In addition, Mobern is actively seeking a local inside salesperson to work from its Jessup, Maryland facility.
