Design Engineer

Intense Lighting, an architectural lighting manufacturer is seeking to fill a Design Engineer position for new product development at its company headquarters in Anaheim, CA. This position requires active involvement with engineering, marketing, production, purchasing, vendors and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Bring products to market from concept to production
- Design and produce 3D models and drawings for prototyping and production
- Direct communication with vendors in all stages of development cycle
- Creating bill of materials
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5 years of work experience as a Design Engineer
- LED Lighting design experience a plus.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Solidworks.
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and stay positive.
- Analytical problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with UL Standards a plus.
