We currently have an opening for a Director of Energy Services within our Sales group.

Summary:
The primary focus of this position is the design, implement, and management of the Cree Energy Services Vertical.  The position requires formulation of and execution of the total go-to-market process: from product/marketing material development to the creation, execution of targeted local energy service companies business plans, establishment/achievement of Energy Services Vertical Revenue commitments.  . Travel requirements for this position could be at times up to 60% or more.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Management and Execution of overall Vertical Strategy
  • Coach, lead, develop direct reports to achieve desired business results
  • Achievement of Cree Lighting sales and profit targets for the ESCO vertical
  • Maintain and develop high level relationships with key ESCO accounts
  • Develop National account relationships with a targeted few Super-16 Esco’s
  • Develop annual business planning process for key ESCO accounts
  • Collect/develop and analyze sales reports (POS) and market feedbacks from internal sources, data and customer POS in order to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
  • Maintain the group’s overall business pipeline and active in pursuing large opportunities.
  • Maintain Salesforce.com records completely and accurately ensuring proper coordination with factory production.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.   Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Coordination of customer purchases through existing or new distributors and contractors.
  • Engagement with local Cree agents, distributors, contractors, and end-users.
  • This position requires travel nationwide approximately 60% of the time

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent industry work experience required.
  • 5 years general knowledge in the lighting industry with ESCO expertise a plus
  • Leadership and Management experience
  • Computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Internet Research, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated history of business development success.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, basic market research techniques, product demonstration, and sales techniques
