“In the course of conducting business, GE Lighting continually reviews and evaluates its operations on a regular and global basis. With the market’s shift toward LED lighting technologies, we find it necessary to align our resources to support this area of growth. GE Lighting announced last month to employees that its North America Professional Solutions (NPS) business will be impacting certain roles in order to realign resources to areas of growth. In addition, the NPS business segment is expanding its manufacturer’s rep agency network. These actions will help to more closely match GE Lighting’s North America professional business to our evolving customer needs.”
