ESCO Sales Manager–Illumitex

Position: ESCO Sales Manager, LED Lighting

Overview: 

Illumitex, an industry leader with breakthrough LED technology that incorporates fundamental physics principles to maximize LED light extraction at the source for the general and horticulture lighting industries is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our sales team as an ESCO Sales Manager.  The ESCO Sales Manager would be responsible for all initial LED Lighting sales and all retrofit sales that are generated through Energy Solutions Companies across the United States, including but not limited to growing future business, development of distribution channels and assisting customers with rebate opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

Revenue Attainment-
The LED Lighting ESCO Sales Manager is a sales position with a salary plus bonus program for sales plan attainment. The ESCO Sales Manager would be responsible for all customer contact regarding initial LED Lighting sales and retrofit sales that are generated through Energy Solutions Companies across the United States.

Pipeline/Spec-In-
The LED Lighting ESCO Sales Manager would also responsible for growing future business by developing a pipeline of lighting projects that are specified with Illumitex LED lighting products. The ESCO Sales Manager would be responsible for closing long term retrofit projects with multi-year delivery timeframes.

Channel Development-
The LED Lighting ESCO Sales Manager is expected to develop relationships with utilities, energy consultants and turnkey energy solutions companies. The LED Lighting Sales Manager is also expected to cultivate national account relationships with at least 5 of the Super 16 ESCOs and assist local sales agents to establish distributors for 50-100 local ESCOs. The ESCO Sales Manager should be able to direct and guide regional sales agents with detailed information related to utility and government rebate programs in their territories

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree or equal experience in sales service to ESCO’s

5-10 years LED lighting sales experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel and PowerPoint required)

Ability to work in a team and contribute with own ideas.

Must be available to work weekends and trade shows when necessary

Ability to travel as needed to fulfill sales goals

Membership of IES (preferred)

Salary plus commission potential up to $125,000
