Legion Lighting, prime manufacturer of lighting products for nearly 70 years, based in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing. Seeking an energetic, organized, professional and positive person.
Reports to VP of Sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and recruit North American Sales Rep. Agencies
- Maintain lines of communications with Reps, and customers
- Prepare market analysis and develop sales strategies
- Make sales calls with Reps to specifiers
- Manage and develop marketing plans
- Travel approximately 33% of time visiting rep agencies
Education and work experience:
- Bachelors degree in related field, business or engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Lighting Industry
- Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills
- Able to do Trade Shows
- Experience in marketing
- Ability to work on one’s own
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
