SUNLITE seeks a Director of Sales in NYC to coordinate sales activities for all of Sunshine Lighting’s brands and to ensure optimization of sales and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities Include
- Sales and coordination within the U.S. for all product lines, application development and sales.
- Coordinate regional sales programs, ensuring successful rep planning.
- Serve as focal point of contact for agents for sales related activity; Drive regional activity.
- Work with other departments to ensure Sunlite maintains a competitive edge in the industry.
- Complete timely reports.
- Maintain relationships with current accounts.
- Develop expertise in the products and systems represented, staying abreast of industry trends.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications Include
- BS/BA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or other Industrial or Engineering Management disciplines preferred. MBA is a plus.
- Five (+) years of lighting, lighting fixture sales experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales and strong lighting based knowledge.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding sales presentation skills, oral and written.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
