The 2016 Next Generation Luminaires™ Indoor Competition has officially launched! Online Intents to Submit are due on December 4, 2015, and the judging event will take place February 10–12, 2016. 

NEW FOR 2016! The INDOOR competition will be divided into two separate evaluations:

Application Focused Luminaire Evaluations will focus on a more limited range of indoor applications targeting specific product types within those categories to further refine the evaluations. Controllability will also be emphasized again this year with a digital controls evaluation of each entry. 

Connected Lighting Systems Evaluations will focus on private office spaces suitable for both new construction and retrofit installations. 

Both Indoor and Outdoor winners will be announced at LIGHTFAIR 2016. Look for the Outdoor Competition launch in December.
